Experience savings like never before!

Our hot tub uses 0.15 kWh of electrical energy when it’s on, and 0.75 kWh when the air jets are bubbling away, so that’s around £0.10 per hour.

Propane used to keep the tub hot for 60 minutes is approx. 0.28 kg, just £0.70 per hour.

It costs just 23p for every 1°C it needs to replace whilst your physically in the tub, so approx. 70p per hour.

For 900L of water, a 19kg tank provides approx. 200°C of energy for your use, whilst a 47 kg tank offers a huge 495°C.

* The above figures are based on a cost of £2.47 per kg or approx. £0.18 per kWh (£47.00 for 19kg gas tank). Using a 47kg tank would reduce all costs by approximately 22% and reduce the unit energy cost to approx. £0.14 per kWh.

Fastest heating hot tub on the planet!

Imagine buying a new kitchen oven and the advisor said that you need to keep it on 24/7 so it was always hot when you wanted to use it – you would naturally think that was madness, but does it remind you of anything?

What you need is something that you could heat the water so fast that you didn’t need to leave it on, after all if there are 168 hours in a week, and you only want to use the tub for 2 or 3 of them, why leave it on for the other 166 hrs?!

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is it called a Luxury 4-person hot tub?

We design for comfort, not headcount bragging. Many brands call a small spa “6-person,” but that usually means knees touching and elbows bumping. With SUPA, four adults can relax properly (around 225L each). Six still fit if you’re happy to be a little cosy!

How long does it take to heat from cold?

From cold tap water to a steamy 40°C in about 45–70 minutes.

Why propane instead of electric?

Because cost and time matters. Electric tubs crawl at about 1–1.5°C per hour, which means you either keep them hot 24/7 or spend half a day waiting. The SUPA Heater powers up with propane, heating around 20x faster. You decide when you want a soak, turn it on, and it’s ready before you’ve even set the mood lighting.

Won’t propane cost a fortune?

Actually, it saves you money. Each heat-up is about 40% cheaper than electric. And because you only heat when you’re ready to use it, you’re not stuck paying to keep the water hot all week/month/year. Imagine relaxing for a few hours on Sunday evening - without secretly worrying what it’s costing you.

Why not just buy a cheaper brand?

Cheaper tubs look tempting at checkout, but the real cost is in running them. With electric tubs, you often pay the price of a SUPA Hot Tub in extra electricity within a year. After that, you’re effectively overpaying every month. SUPA flips that math in your favour.

Is an inflatable tub really strong enough?

Yes - when it’s built right. Most inflatables use single-layer PVC that balloons and sags. The SUPA Hot Tub uses a 3-layer material that stays firm, resists stretching, and feels solid under you. No floppy walls, no constant topping up with air.

Can I use it in winter?

That’s when it’s at its best. While most inflatables get packed away to dodge high electric bills, SUPA keeps going. There’s nothing like sliding into steaming water with frost on the ground and breath in the air - it’s the moment you bought a hot tub for.

How hard is it to set up?

Give yourself 1–1.5 hours. Yes, that’s longer than a simple inflatable, but you only do it once and the payoff is countless easy soaks after.

Can I move it easily?

Yes. Drain, deflate, and relocate. It’s not tied down like a permanent spa - take it with you when you move or reposition it in the garden.

Is propane safe?

Very. It’s the same fuel used in garden heaters and BBQs. We’ve gone further with safety: our regulator includes both a pressure release valve and an automatic shut-off valve. That means even if something goes wrong, the system protects itself.

Do I need special installation?

No extra work needed. Just ensure where you are positioning is firm ground or decking and able to support what could be almost 1,300 kg when filled and occupied. Try and keep it our of direct sunlight or offer shade. Follow standard propane care: keep tanks upright and out of direct sunlight and don’t shake the bottle!

Do I need to keep it filled all the time?

Yes, like any spa - but unlike electric tubs, you don’t need to keep it hot constantly. Heat only when you want to use it. That freedom is where the big savings come from.

Is it eco-friendly?

Way more than electric spas. Because you’re not wasting energy keeping it hot day and night, your carbon footprint is smaller and propane emits less CO₂ per kWh than mains provided multi-sourced electric. Less waste, more enjoyment.

How long will it last?

The tub and cover are guaranteed for 1 year, and the SUPA Heater for 2. Treated with care, they’ll go well beyond that. We have a strong reputation for quality and design to protect, so whilst we need to give a specific length of time, we stand fully behind our products and customer service and will always go the extra mile. Think of it as an investment in winters, summers, and everything between.

What if I need help or spare parts?

We’re a UK-based team, easy to reach at support@supa-heater.com or +44 161 327 3848. And if you want proof we’re serious about service, our Trustpilot reviews do the talking.

Is this really better than an electric spa?

The numbers don’t lie:

  • Up to 20x faster heat-up
  • ~40% lower cost per use – and that’s just heating up, the real savings are made when you’re not in the tub!
  • Ready for winter without the shock of high bills
  • Solid, never saggy sides

Add the freedom of “constant heat when you want it,” and a “lifetime filter” and it’s not really a contest, its’ like a lightweight fighting a heavyweight!

Is it noisy?

Nope. It’s as quiet as any spa. The propane heater runs only when you’re warming the water, even then its uber quiet, then switches off. The pump is SUPA quiet as well. When its keeping temperature you will question whether it even working it’s so quiet.

What about water care?

Same as any hot tub: use the included filter system and basic spa chemicals. We’ll guide you through it - it’s simple routine, not chemistry class.

Can I take it with me if I move house?

Yes. Drain, pack, and go. Unlike fixed spas, SUPA goes wherever you do.

What if I change my mind?

We’re confident you won’t, but you’re covered by our standard return policy. And our support team is always here to help you get the most out of it before you’d even think of sending it back.
